About Tim
Tim Walker was for many years a writer and social media practitioner for Hoover’s (where he started the BIZ blog), a doctoral student in U.S. history at the University of Texas, and a sometime pundit on CNBC. He is now Content Marketing Manager for BreakingPoint Systems. On his personal blog, What I’ve Learned So Far, he writes about everything that interests him — productivity, foreign policy, presentation skills, creative people, management, natural resources, sports, and so on. His goal is to offer a sensibility that marries a reasoned, data-driven evaluation of reality with a compassionate outlook. Elsewhere, Tim writes about high-tech business, oil, foreign relations, the environment, baseball, and, when pressed, politics.
