Tim Walker is a writer for Hoover’s (where he writes the BIZ blog), a doctoral student in U.S. history at the University of Texas, and a sometime pundit on CNBC. On his personal blog, What I’ve Learned So Far, he writes about productivity, foreign policy, presentation skills, creative people, management, natural resources, and whatever else interests him. The goal is to offer a sensibility that blends a reason evaluation of rich data with compassion — as it should be. Elsewhere, Tim writes about high-tech business, oil, foreign relations, the environment, baseball, and, when pressed, politics.
